Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone, daughter of well known Badminton player, Prakash Padukone. She was born in the year 1986 on 5th January. At a very early age she took modeling, that time she was in college and after sometime she became supermodel before she got in to acting. Her slenderness, height and fresh looking face took her long way in making supermodel and become face in the crowd. Deepika during her modeling time became the most famous face for a number of brands like Close-up, Limca, Dbaur Lal Powder etc.

In fact she received many reputed modeling offers including brand ambassadorship of jewels of the India. She also hit the international scene the day cosmetic giant maybelline made her the international spokesperson.

After pursuing a booming career in the modeling industry, Deepika decided to try her hands in acting as well. she begin by starring in music video for song NAAM HAI TERA. This song is from an independent album AAP KA SUROOR by famous singer Himesh reshamiya. In the year 2006 she build her cinematic debut in a Kannada Film, Aishwarya which was opposite Upendra. However in the year 2007 she made her first Hindio debut in OM SHANTI OM, a film by Farah khan. She was casted in opposite to Shah rukh Khan. The movie OM SHANTI OM became the biggest hits on the block buster. In fact Deepika won the best female debut award from Filmfare and was nominated in the category of best actress.

Deepika’s second film was Yash Raj banner’s blockbuster Bachna Ae Haseeno which was directed by the Sidharth Ananad and the star casts include Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu AND Minisha Lamba. Though Deepika did not have big role in this movie but she was appreciated for her role. Her fresh face was really appreciated. She also worked in Nikhil Advani’s movie Chandni Chowk to China which was opposite Akshay Kumar. And her next film was against Saif Ali Khan in his home made production and directed by famous Imtiaz Ali.

Deepika was linked with many guys from the film industry as well as from cricket. She has got lot of attention from actor Ranbir Kapoor and cricketer Yuvraj singh.
